Below is a list of resources and a brief description of each tool. Cultural competence is both a process and an outcome. The tools in this section are designed to invite individuals and organizations to reflect on their approach to service delivery, plan for change, and implement best practices.

Organizational Assessment
Terry Cross, NWICWA, developed an organizational self-assessment tool. This questionnaire guides a group or organization through a comprehensive survey to "encourage organizations, agencies, and programs to engage in a process of self study and review of their proficiency, limitations, and needs for improving their ability to provide culturally competent services."
Individual Self-Assessment
